This made me giggle with glee. Basically, story of my life as a college student. I'm surrounded by cute girls all of the time and my gaydar is just irreversably broken. So I have to carefully test the water and assess, slow down, back off for a while and test again... it's exhausting, but when I finally find that one lovely lady who I realize is doing the same thing to me, it'll be totally worth it. Lovely little poem, my fellow queer :)

Sounds like my job... except the girl I like is certainly gay... and taken. Darnit. Sometimes I think she's flirting anyways... prolly wishful thinking. But yeah, I liked this one a lot. I noticed the "voice change" and how the narrative went. You did a good job of describing the subtle flirting that goes on there, too. Excellent work :D.

lol. i love the pun on the word queer. it's a great poem and well done. i kind of have a similar problem except i'm straight and keep meeting gay guys! lol. i don't mind. they make great friends.
