Your ability to tell stories in poems never ceases to amaze me, Meg. ^_^ This one especially. I'm not exactly sure how to put it, but it just has a very "pretty" feel to it that fits with the sorrowful overtone. Great job!
And I'm also glad to help start this one off too. ^_~ Nyah!

Wow... As powerful as ever. The emotions are so, so much stronger than any other poems, yours or otherwise, that i have ever read before. And so rarely was the word love used. That's what i like about this poem, its not mainstream, in that its not angsty and filled with hatred and loathing against the world, but a kind of dejectedness and resignedness towards the way the world works and the way men's minds work. Ah. Beautiful. I like this.
