Oh, this is just heartbreaking. I love your writing.

These were my favorite lines: "hollowed out by addiction & obsession,/you gaze sadly at the pained/paned glass" "(we could almost touch the sky)/beneath a sea of unlucky clovers & slated train tracks/(we didn’t know what we were doing/we didn’t know how free we were –)" "but you sold off your integrity/for a moment of glitter & fever/(it looked just like the real thing, you swear)".

You're just too good :). I love this.

"a moment of glitter & fever" it seems centered around that theme. to tell you the truth, that fascinates me more than the aftermath, but then again, the whole point is that it doesn't last forever. sadly.
