for You're Crying, My Love

You're a beautiful poet. I don't have much to say in the way of constructive criticism [I'm no poet myself], but I guess I can go on about the good things in this poem, eh?

I do like the way you use no capitalization; it gives the poem a very simplistic and slightly...nostalgic tone? I don't know how or why, but it does. Reminds me of this piece I read on Fanfiction Net...Wasn't a poem, but it was written like this with no capitalization. Okay; now I'm just rambling.

Good imagery and diction. I like. Therefore, favorited.

And because I can't emphasize this more: you are a wonderful poet.

sigh, what a very touching poem, makes me wish i had thought of it first lol.. i have probably written dozens on the same topic (not published in fp though)

what can i say, lovely poem, great imagery.. it is moving for me as i am currently in an on going situation where in i am so sad but.. no one knows.

very good question though, where do unshed tears go.

i follow your 'letter from a toothpick fiend' story..very very VERY wacky..i dont know why i still follow it LOL. all the best.

this poem is truly beautiful. it's emotional, and seems like it is personal. you have an incredible command of the emotions that you convey. beautiful work!

I really liked this. I like the imagery esp. 'The rain outside the window'. Struture too works well: I like the way the ending mirrors the beginning. Suggestion? Maybe try using commas instead of the hyphens, the pauses may bring emphasis as would a couple of question marks but hey it's your work and it's really good! Fab!

This is really beautiful. I love the imagery- like drenched in sorrows, and the repeating theme of blindness and solitude.

That was not random it was really beautiful. By the way you are either incredibly nice or you actually think my story is good since you never give CC to me, so thank you so much.

I really like this concept isn't it so exhilerating to dance in the rain? Whne I do I never thought of it as tears, but the beautiful thing about this poem is that is gives a reason to cry if only inside, because someone else can dance in the rain.

Really beutiful, this made me write a poetic review I love things that do that so don't be surprised if I put this on my favorites and give you a warm cyber hug.

Sincerely,

the Stranger dancing in their tears.

Aww. That's so sad. Insightful, too- don't we all do that, biting back our tears like we're ashamed of them!

I love the last line the best. I love it that it's the title, too. Something inside me melts at that term. "My love."

Well, you gave me such a wonderful review for my poem I wanted to check out some of your own works, and this title in your profile grabbed out at me, and its absolutely adorable!

I love how you started it and finished it with the line, "you're crying my love". The imagery was fantastically acurate, the way you described the feeling of holding back tears, "a mouth full of shards of glass" - that's exactly the feeling. And such an interesting idea - what happens to the tears that we don't let go? - laid out with such aesthetic beauty.

I first came to review to return the favor, but now I'm so glad that I stumbled across your works and your profile. Beautiful job.

Wow...this poem really had something, some hidden aspect that made it so beautiful. The words just flowed so well together, and I loved how you described the pain and the tears, "with a mouth full of shards of glass and a throat full of unsaid words". Your description is unmatched and the feelings it gets across are chilling. I guess there's just a lot of meaning to your writing here and i think you did a wonderful job. Keep up the awesome work and thank you so much for all your reviews! _Me
