i really like all the imagery you have in this poem. i also like the red wedding instead of white and the white funeral. I was told somewhere that white used to be the colour of death for pagans or something, but i can't remember where.. Anyways, i'm rambling, so i should leave...

Love it, love the imagery. Love the line ' the blood petalled rose, just opening'. Love the end line too. This is wonderful.

Whoa. I loved the imagery. It almost seems as if it belongs in a movie... like a scene from a movie. I don't know. I just pictured it in a dark room with two candles and some person playing really dark music on an organ or a piano. I liked it so much! One thing. I don't know if the last stanza fits. Half of me likes it, half of me is like "eh, remove it." I don't know. It depends on what you're going for. If it's the movie thing (which is how I interperted it) I'd end it at "entwining them in song". But if it's something else, just leave it the way it is. Yes. Nice! I love this poem.
