The metaphor in your poem is singularly powerful and calls upon imagery that is immediate and poignant. All in all, I must say this is a fantastic poem that I wish I had discovered sooner. Keep up the good work.

Oh my god! that was such a great poem! Its short and strong and puts images in my head straight away. i wish my war poem was that good!

good description of the word red... and also Poppy's and the different representations... this is good. Also good on the memories many things will triger memories.. smells, odd things like poppy's in a war. those things. Very good ^^ I will read you story later when I have time.

hey i like ur use of imajery in this poem, especially the idea of the poppy's colour, and what it might sybolise. - oh god ive been payin 2 much attention in eng lit! anyway i enjoyed this poem and i think you deal with the issue well.katx
