Hello!
I certainly enjoyed this little one-shot. I liked Tam's personality and how he grew and changed throughout. Especially at the end when Tam's dealing with being unwanted and considering what he's going to do when he leaves, that was very emotional. Made me want to cry. Nicely done there.
Anyway it's kinda late for me and I'd probably say more if I wasn't so tired. Regardless I enjoyed it. Cheers!

This story is pure brilliance. I LOVED it. While I would certainly love for you to write more (possibly just an epilogue as someone before me said), I can also understand just wanting to leave it as a one shot. It's genius. XD

Love this fic, Rachel, so much. Tonight was a re-read it again night, though I really shouldn't have stayed up to do so... well, it will see me off to good dreams. I figured I'd have to leave an anonymous review as it wouldn't let me review again... but I've never reviewed it here! So here is a long overdue review. One of my most favorite stories by one of my most favorite people. Love you, s-o-m-h!

The ending startled me. I thought there were more chapters to come, but it was only a oneshot :/. It was great nonetheless.

I like how you have him as 'Tamrin' towards the very end. Makes it all come together nicely, rightie?
But! I'm not too fond of Yasel. Not at all. Something about that feller just rubs me wrong. Hm... Dunno why, but I'm not too particularly thrilled at how they end up.

I loved this story, and all of the concepts were very thought-provoking. It's kind of like fresh, cold lemonade in the summer.

I thought I'd reviewed this but looks like I never did! First off: Love the idea of reincarnation! I've read the old Kipling poem "They will come back, come back again, as long as the red earth rolls. He never wasted a tree or leaf. Why should he squander souls?" and flirted with the idea of a re-born soul but this was definitely one thing I'd never have thought up -and such a good way to reuse a soul, too.
Awesome characterization, loved Tam's observance of Rin's tribe and his new life through a stranger's eyes. Loved the lack of input of who everyone else was, showing and not telling who these new people are in Tam's reborn life. Great way to bring Tam and Yasel together, by the way; and Yasel's vision plus Tam's previous interest in healing bringing them together in a new life made such a fine plot/character detail.
Off to read more of yours. Again, I think.

Wow. This is a really interesting story. Well done. I haven't read any stories like this on fictionpress. They've all been realistic fiction. So this was an interesting change. I really felt for Tam.
