Interesting set up here. You'd need a lot of power (both political and electrical) to pull something like that off, though. I had a similar set-up for a sci-fi short of mine, Beyond the Painted Sky. However, I just had astronomers making BS reports about celestial bodies rather than holograms, as to cover up a covert war between nations' colonial planet grabs in space. Mind having a look at that?
