I LOVE DOUGLAS! I love everything about the boy! I can't believe it took me this long to actually sit down and read (finals are the devil and should be shoot, buried, and then burned) this! Wow, I love the fact that he fell down to his knees and started bawling and that he was hiding from his girlfriend, and that he has such an odd relationship with his father. Oh, and his best friend and his sister and Alex is okay (though she has my little brother's name...it causes odd visuals at first) and...let's just say just about everything. This story is awesome and update soon, because that was a cliffie, a major one. (Not that I haven't done those, but still...) Right, okay, I love this and think it is absolutely hilarious, and now I feel that this review is getting long and erratic... Anyways, please update soon-this is EXCELLENT!

Looking good so far!
Douglas seems like an interesting character, as do the others.
I notice a recurring theme of parents attempting suicide (like with Tori).

I'm surprised I haven't read your work yet. VERY addicting. You seem to have a flair for dialogue that flows seamlessly and flawlessly. You don't get into description that much, which is normally a bad thing, but in this case, it doesn't matter.
Oh, by the way, I wouldn't mind such an acclaimed writer like yourself to review some of my work! It's not much, but I'd be honored!

I do like how this is starting out. My only question is where is this story taking place? As in, what country? Because in the USA, high school only lasts till one is barely 18, and you claim they're all 19.
