I apologize ahead of time if my review seems unintelligent and meaningless... but really the only thing I can come up with right now is, "Wow."
I've spent the better part of my day off reading through all twenty-three glorious chapters of this story, and there's not one part of it that I didn't absolutely adore. To say I loved it is a bit of an understatement, but I think that's about all I can manage.
You write very beautifully, and have quite the way with words. The characters, especially Andy and Peter obviously, just seem very real. You can really imagine meeting people like them in every day life.
Anyway, I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed reading it!

This story reminds me of something I finished reading only a few weeks ago that left me, to put it plainly, distraught. The ending to that story had me sniffling for hours and reading nothing, but fluff for the next 3 days. Horrible. Complete crap with to many filler chapters. And she's having a sequel to it! ...-ahem- Sorries about that; in the last chapter of Mascara I was having a breakdown to a degree I alone can achieve. (I am not kidding.) I kept having fleeting thoughts like: Oh god he's going to beat around the bush with Andy forever! Andy's probably gonna dump him out somewhere on the road! They're going to be assholes and say they hate one another! The .45 turns out to be loaded with one bullet and they accidentily shoot the other! And on, and on, and on. So, by the end of this story you can only just barely grasp how high pitched that squeal of joy of mine was. It had anyone in the immediate vicinity jumping a foot or two off the ground, I assure you. Peter's words had me smiling, gasping for that air I had lost, and on top of it all it was so well said! Plain to the point. Just how it needs to be said sometimes. Lolz, okay this is where my rant ends. Thanks for the wonderful read! (I will be coming back to read it once more. or maybe twice more, or three more!) ~Luna S.R. ^-^

Loved it. It was real. I liked that. I loved Peter and Andy. Peter was great. I could relate to his fears. You really need to write a sequel. I want to see Peter and Andy after their relationship really starts. Great job on this story!

I love this story!Still can't figure out the Harry/rug-seller thing though...XP Just so you know,if there's a sequel to this I'll definitely read it.=D (Just a oneshot is fine too!)Thanks for writing this lovely story, aside from a few parts which I feel is meaningless(like the kissing Harry part and all that mention about John who didn't even make an appearance)I think this story is a memorable one.And maybe I should've read this story on another site where the story coding has no problems cuz the chapter where Peter is delirious from his concussion didn't make much sense to me and since reading the next chapter was so appealing I didn't take time to understand it throughly.-'

geez, i've read this before, but rereading it almost made me cry at the very end. i don't know why. it's not even that i get all the symbolism or anything like that. just. i don't know. i don't know what to say. i'm so bad at reviews, but i love everything about this story.

I loved this chapter. It was wonderful. Absolutely awesome. The way he thought was all messed up...reminded me of my usual train of thought. :)

wow. They are just so... screwed up. And thats what I love most about this story. You were able to portray just how imperfect love can be.
and it's just... gah! I don't even know. I just love all the little flashbacks you threw in. It made the characters feel even more real to me. The whole story about Red was just traumatizing. And I sorta expected John to make an appearance for some reason. hm.
This is probably one of my favorite stories on FP now. Up until now I've had this sort of... craving for stories with that 'happily ever after' feel. But this one somehow is more satisfying.
(Oh, and I'm proud of myself because I actually got all the music references!)
