"The Contentious Chronicles' just sounds so funny...
I don't see why Rae wrote down 'ello when she could have just put down an H instead of the little apostraphe.
"I know you're just so damn eager to hear about me life'...loved that line.
The pirate slang makes me grit my teeth. Even Johnny Depp doesn't use pirate slang! you don't need to use pirate slang to be cool! (Unless it's talk like a pirate day or something, but still, in serious fiction just talk.)
Get it? Got it? Good.
Meh. As autobiography's go, I've seen them more interesting. If Rae doesn't care about her past we shouldn't either.
Yeah, that education bit. It could have gone a little farther.

(Maybe that's just my personal opinion speaking and others like it that way. If so, ignore the pirate comments. However, this chapter could have been more interesting. As an effort to pull in my attention, I give it a C+. Passing grade, but not fantastic.)

Pretty cool, I like it. It would have been nice if you had elaborated more on how she managed to live until she was 14, I'm a little curious, but it's your choice. Ya, nice, very stright forward, no wierd metaphors or anything, straight-forward adventure.
