Dear star of day, thank you so much for your haunting story, and what a beautiful semi-open end! You have some way with words!I haven't caught you repeating yourself, everythings sounds completely natural, even the way you leave much of the character's looks and history, and even the landscape/architecture to the reader's imagination. Surprisingly funny dialogue too, where others might sound detatched or overly dramatic, and I could go on praising you till morning dawns (it is now 02.42, I just finished Scars in one go)because I'm blown away, having read for four hours straight to Ikue Asazaki's Utabautayun! Thank you for sharing your fabulous work, you have yourself another dedicated fan!Love & gambate, Maaike

Good chapter. Seeing some romance-ish plot between Soran and Reya. Then introducing Tromik. Its all good! Though they have another thing coming if they think Soran will just re-join the Queen's army like that. I'll be glad to see how that works out!

Hey! Sorry it took so long for me to review... I haven't had much time between looking for colleges and being part of my school's theater production...
Anyway - I liked this chapter, what with the introduction of a new character who seems to have a mysterious background as well as the fact that it shows that even though the group won against the cores once, it was still just a small matter.

Wow - two new characters, a budding "romance of sorts," allusions to the other world, and warnings of doom - great chapter~!
I especially like Reya's words about why she's pursuing sorcery as a kind of belonging. And I like the way you used the wound to accomplish the first touch... and also show Reya's not-insignificant prowess.
Doesn't the Witch Queen's organization know the whereabouts of Soran and who he is by now?

Hey its been awhile hasnt it...storys advanced alot and its still really interesting. Sorry I havent left any reviews, but Im pretty sure everyone has said what I was gonna anyway... Cudos on all the other chapters, (including sixteen). And I only have one bit of advice. This Reya person feels a bit random (nesecary but random) coming in suddenly into this one chapter. Maybe it would help ease her in a bit if you put the introduction, even if it is just her sneaking out, at the end of the last chapter that way it doesnt just feel like youve got a gap to fill. Anyway as I said everything else is really great, or else I would have said something different :) keep going looking forward to the next chapter. (if you screw up more often ill leave more reviews :) )
