Wow, this poem just struck me. The words provide such a great imagery, and I love that in a poem. Its so hard to put my finger on the best parts, I am so amzed at how much emotion it stirs in me because I havn't seen a piece like this in a long time. Wow, you are truely an amazing poet. Great Work :D

First off, thanks for the review. After jumping over to see what you're about, I appreciate it all the more!
This poem is gorgeous. You speak so many people's hearts with this, and as told by the reviews, touched so many as well. I, too, find myself standing in that cool breeze on a starry autumn night amidst the mist and rustling leaves...with a lonely song that no one wishes, is unable, or refuses to hear. This line was beautiful in the most painful way: "And in the coursing wind, my body crisps, breaks, then I shatter, myself,...pieces of me still linger." Also "Just so the falling leaves comfort me like an angel, brushing wings against my cheeks." Strange how we humans can find comfort in the inanimate objects of creation. I think it's because we feel His loving arms around us by virtue of such.
Also, the elipses add so much to this piece. I am quite fond of using them myself, because they do leave a lingering feeling, as if there's more to say, but the writer is not quite certain what. Which is in actuality what happens.
Very lovely and enduring piece...
I will look forward to reading more of your work as time permits. Truly, Tourterelle

Wow, this is lovely. It flows beautifully and the imagery is absolutely...wow. THe message of the poem is something many people can relate to and clearly there, so good job! I can't find anything to criticize which is weird for me, so...I don't know what to do with myself now :D Rock on, you're an amazing writer!

WOW. For someone who says they're a procrastinator, it certaintly paid off.Such an intense poem. This is definatly not one to just glance over, best if spoken aloud, still each and every word seems to demand attention and emphasis. Personally, I don't think I have ever writen a poem with such depth, mine are usually written in one to 2 sessions. I spose I write for a different audience/reader. But you've inspired me. ~TRW

Italicized poems tend to make me warm and fuzzy inside.
This reminds me of a typical Romantic poem-over my head. Good job!

I like the last stanza. See, thsi is the kind of piece that when you look at it, you can tell it's going to be good. It just presents itself, you know? Fine job.

Nice. Very nice, acutally.
(Nitpicky: did you mean writ, or want to say write?)
I really liked this though. Sad, yet sweet.

Wow, this is really beautiful. I KILL myself over endings, and you managed to do this one flawlessly. The ends of each stanza really stand out with this feeling of longing, but it's not obsessive, it's so much more gentle. The final line says so much of that, too. The imagery was awe-inspiring, it's great to have that picture painted in your head with the delicate brushstrokes you've done here. It's just really beautiful, and I hope you keep writing so I can read more when my insomnia kicks in. ^_^ (Much love for the review, by the way, and I'm sorry it took me so long to get ya back!)
