As a general rule of thumb I don't much like poems with a readily open meaning. BUT I LIKED THIS ONE =D
It was just. Intensly pretty. And, soothing, kinda. It might also be because I'm in a really mushy kind of mood and I'm all omg love ahaha.
But er. Maybe I just like the poem. Although, just as a passing comment, I always think the flies/wings metaphor is over used and a bit dead now. And the poem (for me) just kind of, sputtered a bit there. Idk. I'm prolly just too anti-cliche.
But. Yah, back to what I liked. You picked up on all the obvious motions in a relationship but, just, kinda stood them straight. Whatever I mean by that. F-knows. Leshrug. I liked the repetition too, which is another thing that usualy bores me about a poem. But it deffinatly suited this one, prolly beecause you eased the alternate lines in and out of repeatition. IDK.
This is why I shouldn't comment. I get my views so confused. Right, I'm stopping.
