So, here I am. I didn’t get around to reviewing this when I read it, so I’m going to do it now! I like this one, but like daedal said, you could try to up the tension a little more when shes trying to get out, thou you can tell what she must have been filling right about then, thinking she mint not get out, I would not like to stay there either. Well have to go. Keep up the good writing!

Wow, ok. This should be, like, the prolouge (sp?) and she should be the mage of darkness later in the story, and then you make a new character that encounters her and tries to turn her heart away from pain and darkness...srry, another one of my cheesy ideas..^^'

I like it how you make the moon speak to her, but I'm also curious how you're going to explain it...My guess is that it'll be a major plot detail...

Wow, I love the way you made the moon talk to her. I want to comment on one thing you said in the last chapter: Irada's father hit her to make her be still, but you said that he couldn't afford to hit her because she needed to look pretty for the wedding. Surely this scar would be noticed?
Anyway, a question about this one: why did she happen to have a package of meat on her? Was it food for her journey? Also, you should try to up the tension when she is sneaking out... try using shorter words and sentances.
One last thing: it seemed a bit easy to get away. You could have extended her walk through the village, and make her almost get caught a couple of times or something. This chapter is awfully short for an escape.
Look at me, I sound like a real nagger :P Sorry for all the critisism, I do really, really like this and I look forward to the next chapter of this, and also of Tivion's Curse!

good thing i randomly checked in on your profile. i remembered reading some time before that this story would be up soon... and now it is!
this is really a good start to the story. i like it so far. this first chapter drew me into the story, and now im all upset. know why? because you dont have another chapter up! :( -tears- oh well, i guess ill have to deal.
i have no criticism, so congratulations. :) i usually do have even a little bit - not so much for your stories, though, it seems. anyways...
please please please please update soon. that way i can figure out whether or not to put this story in my favorites list. actually, if i do end up putting this story in my favorites list, youll end up being in my favorite authors list. ...then id have to take out tivion's curse, to make some room for other stories that i might like. but, hey, favorite authors list is better, in my opinion.. although i do hope you dont mind me doing all of that.
