This is deep, moving, and unbelievably beautiful.

I was shocked by the depth of this poem and by how it's so intricate in its reading.

I love your work. Faves for sure.

Earthy...deep...and so far removed from it, like the speaker is seeing it happen on a flickering black n white screen...just amazing.`~bella~`

I'll have to apologize at the outset, because I don't have much experience with poetry-I'm a prosy person really. But you reviewed my work (thanks!) so here I am.

I find this poem lucid and vicious; earthydark but dreamily metaphysical at the same time. Something like actual experience condensed and purified until all that's left is thick, strong, concentrated emotion/lessness. It's gorgeously bone-shivering.

I like the little italicized poem-in-a-poem too. It resembles an epitaph... Very appropriate.

Pretty spooky...in a good way. I honestly can say I love this poem. It's emotional, and yet it has a tinge of apathy. Brilliant

strong message, strong feeling - beautiful packaging & brilliant realism. i love it. it's gritty & so personal you can feel the words shudder as they hiss inside you. "Hope left me sitting in the gutter" & "winter trees" & the entire first bit about bruises & bones made it so vivid. the italicized stanza - raw, bitter, painful. the ending WAS an ending. love it.
