Disturbing because of how true this can be, but an interesting piece that kept me reading in fascination to see where you were going with it.
Some minor errors that you might want to fix, in the sentence "...faces loose the last of their baby fat...", should be lose, not loose. In "seven pairs of shoes with sequence,..." I believe you meant sequins. In the last paragraph, "thrust into the akward..." the word is spelled awkward.

Well, this was sad. I'm not sure if your message gets as clearly across as I'm sure you meant it to. I'm glad this is saitre, because otherwise I'd beat you over the head with a book on damaging stereotypes.
