'we always thought our silver lining glittered like goldbut when it rains, the sky can tell beautiful lies' i really love that... that's awesome. and i also like the last stanza... it's incredible.

it's so regretful and such a torrent of fascinating ideas and imagery, but i think the second/last stanza is a bit overkill. i love the way you end the first stanza, the hourglass that "cut us down to size when the sand stopped falling." love the way you begin, love how you utilize cliches in a completely different way, providing insight and vivid emotion.
