I never even heard of a paradelle! But that was pretty good. ^^

Okay, I'm going to throw a wild guess and pin you as another Billy Collins fan?

If not, then nevermind.

What struck me most about this was how well you could rejumble the words and instead of having none of it make sense, it brought another dimension to the entirety of the poem.

I actually read once that Billy Collins completely made up this poetry form to make fun of ridiculousless complicated poetry forms. Hehe.

I've never come across this particular type of poetry, though I really like it. The repetition is what really gets me - creating new stanzas out of ones already written, it's quite brilliant.

Your imagery is very strong; I love this line:"His eyes of silver that pierce the wild dark;"

Well done, and I'd look forward to any more paradelle poems you may create.

I was wondering what the hell was going on.
