Interesting story, and I liked the snark between the two MCs; though the anachronisms made the representation of the time period confusing, and disrupted my suspension of disbelief.

That was SOOOOOOO awesome! I loved the overall style. It was a bit slow to start, though that might just be my mood when I began reading it, but it was adorable once I got into it. Love the characters, love the settings and the humor had me cracking up. Seriously, every time assassins are mentioned around me now I'm gonna have to try not to pee... good job, you're totally getting favorited now :)

I love this story! Gah! I kind of wished it didn't have to end.
Such a bloody entertaining and sweet read it is.
There's nothing about this story that I disliked.
Except that maybe I wanted something a little more to justify the M rating. :D

D'aww! This was a really nice read. Alairn is adorable! And, I was like :DD when I saw the Poe reference! I love hidden Easter eggs like that! Edgar Allan Poe reference, Lady Lenore? xDD You are frickin' AWESOME! Well, at least I hope I got the reference correct. o_o There's nothing more embarrassing than seeing a non-existent reference, or misunderstanding the point of something.
Also, I LOVE the idea/premise of the whole Questor's path, and beings placed on the path as obstacles.
This total Win. :)

I absolutely browsing people's favorite stories because I get to find awesome gems like yours! Good hot damn was this one-shot both lovely and smile-inducing. I love the idea of Alairn being a prince but completely failing at it. The romance was adorable without being too dramatic. GAH. I am kind of dying of the cuteness.
Also, the title is bomb.
