Hahaha. Nippolia. I still chuckle when I hear that name, if only because of how we came about with that name. Well nice intro, but where's the rest? I'm still not done with my Nippolia story yet I'm up to page thirteen and we've only just reached the first oasis! (gasp) Somehow I have a feeling that my story's gonna be rather uh... thick.

Interesting start, I'll be watching for more. Hm...I suppose this is a little Narnia/Middle-Earth-ish, but I was reminded more of the world in Dune then I was of Hobbits and Elves. One tiny suggestion I would make (if you are looking for any) would be a couple of tense changes, such as at the end where you say "need" when I think he's speaking in the past tense, so it would be "needed", right? Please correct me if I'm wrong or misunderstood^^.You've got me hooked, please continue!
