yaay for bat alliances! i really like this chapter. but the thing that kept bugging me was what did Stumpy do wrong when they were meeting with the bats? anyways, great chapter, it's really interesting! awesome details... yeah... so... i think that's all i have to say...

An interesting strategy, using the bats as allies. I wouldn't have expected the weird accents, though.

i felt so sorry for poor stumpy, and i was seriously staring wide-eyed at the computer while reading the fight scenes between him and the bird and then the dog. it was really good. i love how he got promoted to major just because he survived. that was great. GO SQUIRRELS! brilliant. absolutely brilliant.

Wonderful job Chris! You are an amazing writer! I was able to clearly visualize this battle in my head, the whole time I was reading your story. I feel so bad for the squirrels. I really hope they come back and kick some feathered butts!Awesome job - write more, more, more!

Great concept! Squirrels and birds fighting in a real war-time setting, its brilliant!
You should put in a chapter about the birds. I imagine them to be some form of pseudo-facist (flock mind and all that jazz)it would be really interesting to see their side of the war too. I wonder how squirrels would fight something like that...anyway good show!
