You also seemed to throw some elements of Brave New World, nost notably with a movement against individualism and replacing God with Uncle Sam, where as in Huxley's work, it was Henry Ford (no clue why).

I cannot believe we haven't talked about this. 1984 is my favorite book of all time! I love the book, I love this, I love any concept even close to 1984. This is so cool. I love it. I love you for writing it. It's like, i finish 1984 but I'm waiting for more and this was exciting to get something a little different tasting. And making it America.. you know me kinda... I love shoving America into .. "stereotypes" isn't the right word. But anyway. I haven't paid any attention to fiction press emails but this one caught my attention. Yay! We'll have to talk about the book sometime, okay? Okay.
