wow that sounds like how i felt with my bf back in april. he talked about just wanting to be friends then the same night he brings another girl here and it broke me to pieces. ive never cried so much in my life. that was right b4 easter. we're still together but thats only bc i knew i still loved him and didnt want anyone else. i told him he would have a 2nd chance if he never talked to her again. great job!

This is really good; lots of feeling. Good description, too. (goes to look up "obsidian" in the dictionary)I really liked the pattern, too - eight lines, then one, eight lines, then one. ugh, sad. i adore the parts in italics- a little originality is hard to capture in poetry but you did a fine job. i like how they're all questions, & you stuck with it.
