Wow. I absolutely love this. I thinkmy eyes actually became a little misty. It is absolutely true. I especially love the last few lines: "Yet your cold eyes are smiling…Why…? Tell, brown bird, why don’t you cry?" Excellent job, this deserves a spot in my favorites.
