Oh I agree. I was rooting hard for England even though I can't STAND Becks for thinking that Man U was below him and not wanting to put up with Fergie anymore. Try being an American girl who follows premiere leauge football and world cup action...everyone just kinda goes "huh? soccer? Is that where you kick a ball around for a long time with no breaks? Where do you put the commercials!" Yes, girls can like to watch football just as much as guys...and just because the average footballer happens to be really sexy (cough gary neville cough) that isn't the only reason to watch.
