Wow. I'm absolutely blown away by this. I read it word for word (rare, I usally read a few paragraphs skimming here and here) and loved every minute of it.
A good perspective on how Sappho might have lived her life and the Roman views towards homosexuality. How odd though, since many soldiers in the army had male suiters which wasn't uncommon.
I like it. Write more.
