So sorry for now reviewing sooner.
It was a good story, but seemed a little rushed.
The only adivice I'd have to give for your future stories is to spend a little more time describing what's going on. I used to not describe my stories and they never seemed to get the feelings I wanted correct. But someone gave me advice on spending more time being more desciptive on what is I had going on. Try it, it helps.

I think you have a good story started here. A bit more detail would be nice and maybe some added backstory, but I really like it. Great character development. I also like that you leave the reader hanging a bit at the end of your chapters. Good job.
