Wait, what!? Are they both just being stupid!? Obviously things improved over time between them, although I am sure they had their bad moments... but how can they have these genuinely good or nearly affectionate moments and hold onto some very old anger for so long. I understand that he hurt her when he just cut her out of his life (apparently due to some currently unrevealed reason that she wasn't even aware of where he was somehow hurt by her) but if they can have a moment like that last one why couldn't they have had a discussion like adults and talk things out. I mean ugh! It's so frustrating, even though I understand they both are also fighting against their obvious feelings... Okay, so I kind of answered my question, but seriously! *smacks both characters upside the head*

Love the last names! The Vigilante's topped Guggenheim and I thought that was going to be the best, but seriously a teacher named Sermon, lol!
When I read that there was a house across the way with a For Sale sign I thought I was right about them being neighbors, but I guess I was wrong on both counts :)

Of course I had to start this story now... I really like how this started out, with how it's all going they'll probably end up being neighbors, or since their families are close they'll be staying with them while they look for a house... Whatever happens I know it will be interesting at least! I cannot believe that she would put Amy on the spot like that! It makes me wonder how they became friends, when they met etc.. What I really want to know though, is what the hell happened to make him decide he no longer wanted to be friends. I am truly puzzled (though I am sure that's what you intended, and you also to intend to eventually let us all know, but still I really want to know NOW! lol!)

I get it know, while Casssidy is hopelessly in love with Dante, so is he but they won't tell each other and they expect the other to know as well. I can't wait to see how it comes out and the reaction after it. Great!

I love this story! It was a bit confusing at first with the flashbacks and everything, but it all makes sense now! I was wondering around how many chapters there are left? It seemed like it would be ending soon but I'm not so sure now :P

Yay, an update! Now for some constructive criticism...
[Truly I was a brat with a mouth that should have gotten me punished more than I had.] Shouldn't there be a comma after "truly"?
[Bemused I observed his face and the way his eyes flickered away from my gaze, as if he were trying not to look at me.] I think a comma after "bemused" would be appropriate in this sentence.
Aww, Seth and Amy :3 secret love affair... I like it. And it seems that Cassidy and Dante are caught in a love...square? Cass, Dante, Rick, and Laurita, all in one awkward square. Square dancing!
My mind leads me to odd places.
Anyway, I have a feeling that Cassidy will end up with Dante, but I can't help but feel immense pity for Rick. He seems like a genuinely nice guy—maybe a bit of a douche every now and then, but a nice guy. Why do these funny, nice guys always get pushed to the side? *grumbles*

Mannnnn Dante has major case of indecisiveness and male PMS! He needs to come out and declare his intentions if he wants Cass to have any clue what he's thinking, or get the clue. He's just getting all jealous by himself because other guys are interested in Cass, and she is on the road to getting over him, or coming to terms that she needs to move on.
So Dante's feeling anxious because it seems like Cass is moving on when she doesn't really need to (or that's what it seems like... that Dante is still in love with Cass and not looking to get back with Laurita), then it's his fault cuz he's not doing anything... saying anything to make her think otherwise. Unless he expects his "actions" to "speak louder than words", he's doing a really bad job because he's so hot and cold. Grrrr boy is so frustrating.
Anyways, I'm not saying that Cass is any better because she's all over the place with her reactions, emotions, whatever... but that boy is sure frustrating.
And if Rick is flirting with Cass to get a reaction out of Dante, he's doing a good job. Unfortunately, Dante is reacting the wrong way by being cold to Cass and then being nice to Laurita which is TOTALLY giving Cass the wrong ideas.

It was a great chapter, as usual. I do think they should be confirming the hall rather than first booking it. Where did the invitations say that people were supposed to show up? I don't think it needs to be a big change though. And Cassidy is really funny in this part.

These two are cute, though sometimes I think that she and Rick would have a healthier... less intense relationship. I wonder what Dante is up to because he really needs to be more straight with her and stop being so hot and cold. He is not helping her temper by acting that way!

Thank god there weren't any sad moments in these 2 have calmed down a little and peaceful for Cassidy as she has started sorting out her inner emotional satisfied with way the story is going right for the update:)

I feel as though Cassidy is letting go of Dante (don't roll your eyes, and yes, I saw the name of the chapter erjgwsnvlskv) and I don't know if I'm ready for this to happen I mean are you tRYING TO TEAR OUT MY HEART HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO HANDLE IT I CAN'T THAT'S WHY YOU CAN'T DO THIS CASSIDY ASDFGHJKL. I really really loved this chapter and I can't believe this is happening. But I'm so glad I can get out of the stage of having a complete and utter breakdown every time Cassidy and Dante have a 'moment'. But Laurita whAT ARE YOU DOING TEARING MY BROWN EYES OTP APART UGH. I think by the end of this story I would have torn out my scalp from all the frustration it has caused me I swear. I absolutely love Rick, he's one of my favourite characters, the way you've made his personality really works next to Cassidy. And I'm actually super glad that Cass is just not being spiteful towards Kari but just kind of impersonal around her. But then Kari pointed out the thing with Laurita and my heart self-destructed honestly why do I do this to myself. And then he was being all weird and jealous but not quite but still and she admitted to herself that she still loves him and I was so happy but then he went and I just can't even so I'm going to stop.
