I'm not sure how I feel about Cass with Rick, but i do enjoy Rick's presence. He deserves some happiness and love for sure. The whole confession between her and Dante definitely struck a chord and I pretty much was left in tears too. great chapter, I really love your story :)

Okay, so I'm going to write my review here since I've apparently reviewed chapter 25 .. and 24 .. and 23 .. (this I do not recall) and, yeah well you get the idea. Anyway, I LOVEEEE this story so much, you don't even know. I'm bonding with your characters. No seriously. I'm in physical pain from waiting for your updates! If you don't throw in a crazy passionate kiss in there somewhere, I think I might die. So to spare me from an untimely death, please update soon, and make the updates longer because I hate stopping! It's like a really good book you can't put down until you're done. And I know you're taking your time to develop the characters, but seriously, if that kiss doesn't happen soon, I'm going to jump into the computer and kiss him myself.
I promise I'm not weird.

This is definitely a fantastic story, as many people have probably told you :D I'm loving it every step of the way, even if there are slow updates in between chapters. Hehe. Reading about Dante and Cass' relationship is heartbreaking but also heartwarming at the same time. It's good to know they have each other's backs. As for Rick, oddly enough, I'm actually hoping Cass will give him a chance. It doesn't seem like they'll end up together, but if Dante could "move on" with Laurita, it seems that Cass ought to experience a chance with someone else as well. Rick appears to be quite an awesome guy.
And that actually brings me to a question. I'm actually finding it very hard to understand Dante right now. Every time he speaks with Cass, it's pretty obvious he wants to go back to how they were back when they were in love. But then he also claims to love Laurita and every time he talks to Cass about her, he appears happy and blissful. For such a deep love like Dante and Cass', how is it possible to move on from that? And from the looks of it, he hasn't, or at least hasn't completely moved on. So why doesn't he end things with Laurita? It almost seems like he's stringing her along now.
Sorry that was quite a long question x) Please update soon! You've really got this character development thing going!

man its been a while since ive read this and i didnt have to reread a thing. the emotion is still there, alive and rivetting (i dont think i spelled that right). But still if cassidy doesnt stop being stubborn i might jump through the words lol. Good stuff.

Okay so I first thought that this chapter was going to be a filler but then we get tithe scene at the rink and I'm I tears. Even though you've been gone for so long this chapter makes everything better. I still hope that they'll get together in the end but as the story progresses it doesn't seem like it will. I'm waiting for laurita to come into the story to add another whirlwind. It's great that you're taking your time wth their relationship because it's not simple at all and we readers get the full extent and emotion from it since you're developing them and figuring out how. Love this story, it's an emotional rollercoster and one that I hope gets completed someday

I feel like bursting into tears.
I mean, I look at my updates and the last thing I had expected was it to come up with Brown Eyes being the most recent. Then I start shrieking with joy and my family looks at me with these confused and slightly worried expressions, I couldn't help but laugh.
And THEN I start reading and reading, and then my chest clenches every time they talk of Laurita because the poor oblivious bitch stole his heart.
And to top it all off, Dante, poor, heart-broken Dante, cries.
ARE YOU TRYING TO GIVE ME SOME SORT OF EMOTIONAL DISORDER?
So now I'm going to be mulling over this little (MASSIVE) dilemma whilst wondering when the next chapter will be up.
Ugh!
Okay, not that big of an over reaction...right?
It was captivating, breath-taking, beautiful; it was needless to say, perfect.
I don't know how other readers will take this complex and heart-wrenching relationship, but I am having a hard time deciding whether I should be jumping up and down, happy that they are at least facing the music, or screaming and tearing out my hair in frustration.
I'm going to go with silent contemplation.

Oh, goody :O! This story (and your writing in general) is bloody amazing! You just have this way with words, you know? Your writing is phenomenal. I absolutely love it, it's great, amazing, and wonderful, and just perfect the way it is :). When reading, I'm 100 % focused on the story itself and the characters and everything that's going on in it... it's fantastic and there are only a couple of writers on fp whose work I adore so much, including yours :). Your stories can easily make people laugh or cry... you're really good at this :).
I love that you don't rush anything and you always keep us on our toes. I'm also glad that your stories are so realistic and your characters relatable. I see a little bit of myself in all of them :). Especially in Cassidy. She's so, SO much like me and Dante sounds just like my former best friend-slash-my first love that it's crazy, so reading their story is just like taking a walk down the memory lane :). It's just... I don't know what to say. Their story hits so close to home, it's... wow :D.
And one of the best things about your stories is that I can never know for sure what's about to happen :D.
