YOur story gave me chills. My boyfriend is a firefighter and getting that call is my worst nightmare. I know how Lee feels at the end of a long strech just trying to stay busy so your not thinking about what he is really doing. Your story touched me, and scared me..lol. I thought it was well written.

This was really good... it reminded me a little of Ladder 49. Have you seen it? It was a great movie but really really really sad.

Every time I read one of your stories I end up crying.Now when ever I see you post a new one I make sure to get some tissue because I'm tierd of soaking my shirt.Lol.But any ways it was really good, as usual. A tear jerker as usual (or am I just that easy to make cry?).I can't wait to see what 'master piece' you come up with next.

Wow. I don't know if I could handle a relationship with a person who could get killed at any time. Scary...and sad. I admire Lee for that, I guess. Great story, very sad, as expected, though.
