Well, I think as the reviews will tell; everyone can relate. Nice use of imagery, especially liked the line "taking the reader tumbling / soaring into another world."

It's a little simple and easy to follow, unless you weren't talking about writing a story. Politics would be my only other thought. Then again, that's always what I've read poems as meaning.
Still, it's pleasant.

I can relate to this, like all writers. Be it a story or an essay for school (Hint hint, World Lit Paper, have to learn the art of BSing) there's always that moment of staring at a blank page. The last phrases were excellent

"Like waves receding into the seaAnd I don't know what I want to say."
This has to be my favorite part. I can also relate. The worst feeling in the world is when you have that itch to say something, but you don't really know how to say it, or even exactly what you want to say.
Btw, thanks for the input on Nostalgia! You're interpretation was interesting. You definitely gave me something to think about. :)

Ah! Can't everyone relate? I had this feeling thousands of times when I feel a pull of inspiration. I open up Word all giddy and when my fingers touch the keyboard all the words just seem to run away and I'm left puzzled. Very nice.
