Wow, I went through that when I just finished primary school.. It was the holidays before my first year at high school.. and I hadn't seen him for ages and the only time we talked was online and then he just stopped talking and I was always so scared that he knew I liked him. I'm sure if this guy is your friend, he would be understanding if he knew how you felt or he could even feel the same way. Great poem, I know exactly what you mean. Good Work.
