Um...wow. This = favourited. Maybe it's because I've got a friend going off to University in the next week or so, but this really hits home.
The frankness and the poetic normallity seething through the words is amazing. =) Very, very excellent work! Definitely checking out the rest of your gallery now.

I loved the imagery you used, and the form. It all fit very well with the subject of your poem. The turning point, the change, the stress...(I liked the reference to childhood with losing Barbie's head, and I also liked the hopeful last line in brackets.)

I like the short blunt lines and - to use a cliche - the great imagery. The last line is a little cheesy, but other than that, not a bad poem.
