Loved it! Especially the last line... very powerful. Seems to me that it's about an alcohol addiction. The line "never is the escape worth the price" was very well put... becuase doesn't that usually apply to everythibg where an escape is provided? An interesting topic to explore! Keep up the awesome work,Alex :)
(ps: unless it was intenional... I think this would be even more amazing if you added punctuation.. lol, when I like poems I read them aloud.. and I only got to take one breath through the whole thing !)
