Aww! That's so true, and I wish a lot of people would read this poem and take it to heart. Too many people worry about superficial desires more than the troubles of others, and though I like to think I'm better I guess I'm really not. You know, I go out and buy that new Full Metal Alchemist DVD or a bunch of clothes I don't really need instead of doing something useful with the money. Not that one should live a joyless life for the sake of others, but they should at least stop to think. Oh well, this was a huge review so I'll stop here, but suffice it to say that despite its simplicity I think this might be my favorite one of your poems.
