I love Michael's all flirty with Manda and makes her blush. It's just too cute. I can't believe we've got figures running about hurting him already! It's only chapters five and six! But it was a good thing Manda managed to stop our mystery figure - although I'm sure there will be more encounters that won't be so lucky.
Hm. Alex. I'm still a little suspicious about her despite her explaining her so called research. It all seems a little weird her researching Manda's entire family for, what was it, Orthopsychiatry. (I'm going to have to look that up now...) I'm really curious about the Eldgrim case too. It hasn't been in a story already, no?

Hmm. So Vandergelt won't talk and Alex is somehow involved. I love how you make things so complicated so quickly - and that Ellis always seems to be involved. I'd love to know what that woman has against the Riders.
Michael makes me laugh. He's embarrassed to be around Alex and her low shirt, yet he's trying to get Manda into bed. Guess that's a quirk that makes him so attractive - he seems to only have eyes for Manda, and then gets all mad when other men fall for her, which she's too naive to see.
A great updates. I'm looking forward to new chapters soon. :)

So, Manda's avoiding Michael... what's new? That girl, grr, she frustrates me. Like you'd run from a guy like Michael! The poor boy, surrounded by all those women. He needs to learn how to take it all in his stride. And now Blake could be dead. That's interesting. I'm guessing he's in hiding or was kidnapped instead, but I guess I'll see how the story plays out. :)

Yay! A new story! (How much of a fan girl am I?)I just knew it would have something to do with Connor - I hadn't expected him to be dead (if he actually is dead...) but I knew it had something to do with him.
I liked the way you started this with Blake, rather than Manda. And the little cliffhanger at the end was extremely tantalising. I'm definitely interested to read what you'll have in store, and how Connor's death will affect Manda's relationship with Michael. I mean, she proposed! Surely it won't tear them apart forever! And I must admit I'm a little suspect about Adam... but then, at this stage, I suspect everyone. :)
Oh, I hate to be nit-picky but there was just one thing I noticed:"He could solve countless {of} cases but he couldn’t even protect his family." "They had been doing this for years that they didn’t need to be told {of} what to do."I think the 'of' is unnecessary. Apart from that, this is an excellent start, and I'm ready for the adventure. Hope to read more soon. :)
