I like this chapter. It was interesting, especially the dream she had. What a nightmare THAT would be - to find yourself marrying a jerk like Rindran, and then seeing all your loved ones and friends either in danger or dead.
I wasn't quite sure what happened after she woke up. The description was a good use of first person reality (if there is such a term - you know what I mean). Either way, yeah... Cyril is always there when she needs him... they are so sweet together. AW!

So... Loeran is one of the GOOD GUYS? I'm glad he was there to help Kera escape, but he seems like kind of a jerk to the Keelites. Oh well, there is no love lost on the Keelites' side either, so I guess they're even.
Poor Kade is still upset about his brother. He's so sweet.
I hope Kera doesn't make any rash decisions about returning to Zura - even with the protection of a group like Loeran's, she would be in a lot of danger.
So, when does the war actually begin? Are these people gonna get the chance to show off their fighting skills or not? When do we get to see the Zurate smack down? It should be really good... lol.

FINALLY! Rindran is FINALLY getting a good beating... He deserves so much worse, in my opinion. I love it that you talk about Kera's internal battle with the opposite sides of her personality. It makes her sound very human but not schizophrenic - if that makes sense...
Anyway, I LOVED this chapter! My favorite part is the end where Kera whacks Cyril - it is exactly like her to do that, but still so cute. Cyril is a sweetheart. Totally loved Kade laughing at the whole 'beating Rindran' scene.

GREAT chapter! Love the part where the bird intervenes and chases Rindran. He's such an idiot.
By therapeutic do you mean that Kera is gonna beat some sense into Rindran? He could certainly use it, and Kera could use the exercise!

i liked the story so far but there are far too many people "rolling their eyes" all the time. i've begun rolling my eyes every time that phrase pops up. also, some of the adjectives describing emotions seem inappropriate, such as a grimace or a sneer when smiling at a friend. of course, they're your characters and maybe you do want them to grimace or sneer at that point. it just seems a little incongruent to the reader. otherwise, good job especially on handling the subject of a female warrior in male dominion.
