This chapter was an odd combination of humorous/sad. It does, in a way, bring into light that many things were not as they appeared and helps clear up a lot of the conflict that was present before, but it also served as a reminder that there is to be much more conflict ahead. Good work. I can't say in words how much I truly do enjoy this story. ^^

EXCELLENT chapter! I really LOVED it. Even though you make Meerna a little (emphasis on little) less repulsive, she is really gonna be hard to like. But, I applaud your effort at making her seem human. You did a great job on this one!

Kera seems too robotic in this chapter...
Personally, I think Meerna and Rolen meld rather well. -shrug- Kera's short encounter with Meerna in the last chapter even showed the ice queen thawing out a bit as well. Kudos on showing her as a human being even if for a moment. Completely 'bad' or 'bitchy without a cause' characters are disgusting rampant lately...

Great chapter. I like the interchange between Rolen and Kera. I especially like how cocky Rolen gets after he defeats Kera - it would be nice to see the cocky knocked out of him by one of those other fighting dudes. But even better if Kera knocked it out of him. Either way, it should be interesting. Thanks for a great read!

I have one thing to say to Meerna and Rolen pairing up... "BO!" I just can't make myself like her at all. Unless Meerna completely changes everything about her, she will turn out to be a thorn in Kera's side.

I really liked this chapter. A hint of sadness, conflicting emotions, and resignation. Something we all go through at one time in our lives. Makes Kera seem a little more human. And, Cyril kissed her again - even if in trying to comfort her... yeah baby!

That was kind of sad, in a strange way, but also very good. It's a good transition/reflective chapter. I liked the ending too. A very light ending on a very serious chapter.
