This piece just-/exposed/ me, y'know? I felt naked and vulnerable, all right her in front of my computer screen. I had to turn off the music in the backround just to concentrate.
The authors note didn't hinder this at all-excellent work. You have a knack for alliteration.

Beautiful.
Great line = 'The funeral was just a reminder / That the coffin lid won't stay shut.' And the whole first stanza...and the last two lines...all of it. Excellent job.

fuckfuck. this hits especially hard, especially now. but even if She wasn't gone, i still would have thought this was written beautifully. 'we were like fireworks' - beautiful imagery. 'and from those dizzy heights we fell' - i adore this line. absolutely gorgeous. 'but we clutch at falling stars' - fuck, that is just perfect. absolutely flawless. lovelove it. 'because perspective is a savior from the truth' - beautiful, interesting line. i like it. 'everything has a time to die' - so painfully true, so beautifully written. i love it, i love it. 'and we continue drifting aimlessly' - written so simply, but so beautifully at the same time. i love the imagery of it. 'waiting for the rain and waiting for our release' - oh, such a gorgeous line. again, flawless imagery. this poem is beautiful. 'blinded by the possibility of progress' - what an amazing line. i love it. 'we just keep falling behind ...' - a beautiful, powerful ending to an amazing poem. definitely a favorite - beautiful. just gorgeous.
