i just want to say that your story was absolutely breath-taking. and last night i had end at chapter 18 to sleep, and i actually thought about the whole night and jumped up as early as possible to read it this morning. it was just truly amazing. and i dont usually read flash-backs, but these were brilliant, and captured the mood of the story so well. thankyou for sharing this story! it was beautiful =]

Wow, this was beautiful. I found it really good. The chracters are so real and although the best friend-turned-boy friend thing isn't that original, it had a twist, with her being rather.. slow.
I loved the way the characters are consistent and you're making me want a Brent. (:

Wow! I'd have never thought this story would make me cry. *lol* I'm sentimental. Maybe too much. But I loved the WHOLE plot from beginning to end. I especially loved how you ended the epilogue- its hows u started your story. The way you wrote it really made the characters and what they went through come to life. Maybe thats why I wanted to cry when her dad was dying and tears came down when you ended the story. Great writing!

Okay let me tell you how much I love this story: I ran up my phone bill reading it from start to finish on my phone. :D
I don't even know where to start...I love Brent and Aubrianne (a beautiful name btw, does it have a special meaning). Their friendship is so well-balanced and strong. Makes me appreciate a friendship I have that is very similar to these two.
The story was extremely well written and I love how you surprised us at different points. You made us wonder 'what's going on' and then slowly revealed it to us (Brent's accident). It was not done in anyway to frustrate the reader, but rather it made us appreciate the story even more. Very good writing style.
Anyway I won't ramble further, but thank you for sharing this great plot with us. You could have left it in your head, but you didn't. *grins* So cool of you.

oh i love this story. but you don't know how much i cried while reading it. it's kind of embarrassing. i just wanted to tell you to keep up the good work! but don't force yourself cuz then that's not fun hehe.

Wow, I'm so glad you posted this story! It's really a joy to read. I love stories with characters who give and take, put others first, grow throughout the story, and are whole, complete people. At the beginning Aubrianne is almost unconvincingly nonjudgmental. I've met people incredibly sweet and giving before, but never have I heard of someone who is so innocent she almost doesn't think at times, doesn't judge a person or situation even when she should. It was wonderful to watch her finally grow up, finally get angry. Brent is incredibly patient and loving. I enjoy your story. It was a perfect light read.
So, when are you submitting it to publishers? ;-)
