Generally I wait till the end of the story to review, but I just have to say that... somehow, in this very short chapter you have managed to make me really and truly care about the characters. You have this wonderful way of portraying the brother and sister relationship and while I think your writing structure could improve and the chapter could be longer you write the relationship so wonderfully. Brava.

i dont think that was a fitting end for a book. i think that since you knew that you would be writing a sequel that you wrote this last chapter like a chapter and not like the ending of a book...but i did like the book in general

Aw, I wanted so badly for Geraldine to be the presence both Joel and Kadri had felt. I was kinda hoping for my blonde to strike Autumn in the back when she was transformed but I guess it was just my fandom for my blonde getting the best of me.
Still, I wasn't expecting this fic to end like this. True, I didn't expect neither Joel nor Kadri to be able to defeat Nicholai. I just imagined they would escape and live the rest of their eternity traveling from place to place, always hidding from their pursuers. But instead of being scared, they would be happy because they had each other. And all that mushy stuff (Sorry, that's just the way many female authors here tend to finish their work). I'm glad you didn't finish it like that. SO now we have a sequel, hurray!
PS: I appologize for taking my sweet time in reading this. But I'm reading it, aren't i? And I'm pleased by what I read and very very thankful that it didn't bore me. You did good.
But... Huh? There's another chapter? Hmm, is it an epilogue? Let me check.

^that one up there is probably the quote that defines this story. Autumn really is more of a villian than Nicholai.

Though, as I said before, I don't blame Autumn for her actions but now she has gone too far! Bringing poor and innocent Geraldine into this mess. This won't go unpunished! You hear me, Autumn!
Ouch! Poor Teagen. I guess that was sort of a happy ending for her (in a very sick world, that is) but a semi-happy ending nevertheless.
Run Kadri! Run Joel! And whatever you do, save Geraldine!
Seriously, I don't understand why they didn't befriend my blonde angel? (although technically speaking, she's a vampire) I would have befriended her since the very first day.

But you did gain +10pts for making kadri realize that she turned into what her parents hated the most. Good, very good indeed.
Bur now I really want to see some sort of flashbact that reveals the scnes of how Quinn turned into a vampire, how he suffered bcs of it, how afflicted he was about being apart from his sister, a scence where he finds out how his parents were killed and finallt the scene he dies in.

Ok WOW BiG revalation! Becuase I was up to my neck with all the tests I had I didn't get to enjoy this chapter sooner, and wow, WOW! Awesome!
Wait wait wait! If I remember clearly, Quinn was 18 but looked 15. If Quinn was 15 when he turned into a full-fledge vampire then that means Kadir won't be aged anytime soon, in fact, she won't age at all. Neither will the rest.
But it doesn't stop there, now it's when it really gets good. Sure, the typical boring thing will be that one of the guys indoors is the assasin. For all things evil, the one who killed Quinn should be Nicholai.For some thriller, the murderer should bre Joel. Oh, I'll love that. But now, for a really good suspenseful dramatic ending, the murdere should be kadri herself. Think about it, if it was a snowday, thus the sun was out, Quinn died because he went out with his loving sister on that fatefull day. Yep, anything goes.
Well enough speculating. Let's see what really happens.

What? Kadri killed someone. Hmm, the ideal thing would be that Joel asks her our and become a couple, but it will be such much entrataining and dramatic if he tells her he can't be around her anymore bcs she's a murderer and he's not. (Though I'm only presuming he's not a killer.)
PS: Yey! Now that Geraldine is 15, I might start a fansite for her.

I don't really think Autumn is acting weird, I think it's a pretty normal way to act when your friend ditches you continuously. If Autumn becomes jealous, I completely blame Kadri for it. Kadri, like all girls do when they are crushing on a guy, ignore their best friends, and then like idiots, wonder why is her friend, Autumn, acting "weird". It just gets me angry because poor and innocently beautiful Geraldine is getting drag into this. (Oh come on, like you didn't expect it, of course I'm ranting because I want to protect Geraldine. You already know she's my fave.)
Nice to see Taegan got some lines there. On to the next one!
