Overall, this was pretty good. Sometimes the writing seemed a little staggered, but the majority of this flows very nicely. Something most writers need to work on - myself included, of course - is being able to tread the line between dark and disturbing that's taken so over the top, so overdone that it loses its effect. It seemed a little too dramatic in some places, but that's probably either what you were going for or my personal taste getting in the way of things. ^-^

I'm not saying I don't overdramatize things, though, xD. Like I said ... I do the same thing. ^-^;

Loved it. I absolutely loved it. Every sentence just layered onto the next with a rapidly building suspense that forcefully glued my eyes to the text. It was wonderfully written, with the mystery of the cedar box being revealed with a devastating, violent, and gorgeous ending. All of the inner thoughts and emotions were so beautifully concieved, and were so realistic and sadistic it was creepy. As said before... I love it.

Oh, and if you're looking for content for your C2, I think my story "Eat" should qualify.
