Disturbing...
I like the interjection of questions that don't get answered; it adds to the feel of the whole thing.
You have to ask yourself though, when you say that "you can't take away my pride", have they already done it? The fact that this poem was written might be in fact a contradiction to that line. That's not to say the whole thing is faulty, I'm just saying that there's a separate layer to look at here other than the superficial one...
