Some beautiful images, I especially like the lines, 'his hand plucking our broken humanness/out of sand and sea into brilliance beyond'
The whole poem has a feeling of humanity to it. It is both humbling and sad, but more direction (i.e. the point of the poem) would be nice, to further establish what you are writing about.
