This was a very interesting beginning, to say the least. I'm still not "keen" on whether the narrator is a male or a female, but my instincts are leaning toward the latter. However, I've been wrong before. There are obviously frights and surprises in store for us readers, and I'm glad that I read such an installment on Halloween.
