It's ironic because I actually had a nightmare on Thanksgiving night. (I think it was all the food...) But this definitely exemplifies the feeling. Good work, xan. :)

Intriguing and thought-provoking! It renders the feeling of an almost inevitable desperation as one tries to liberate oneself from its own demons. And the words you've used succeed almost flawlessly in this. "bleeding subconsciousness", "broken", "trying".. wow!
