1) This sounds a lot like "Jimmy Neutron," and yet I'm interested.
2) I liked the suspense and the descripitions of the children.
3) I noticed you repeated the first line as the last line. Subtle genious.

The concept is interesting, but so far it's sounding a lot like those "Left Behind" books. I think the coming chapters will say a lot about how well this will work.
