Thanks. I was wondering when you were gonna bring the trans thing up. I feel like you should have it clear in your mind what Dany/i is, because I keep going back and forth, trying to figure out what s/he is. Unless, of course, that's the point. B/c Dany/i's rejection in the last couple chapters doesn't seem like denial or anything, so I am confused about that. Anyway, this is a really intriguing story and I am really glad I decided to read it. I hope to see more soon!

Well good for Kevin! Coming out in school the way he did and inspiring others, very brave and very cool! I just wish he'd told Danny how he felt tho when he found out he'd gone to the doctor by himself. I like the way you're introducing new characters, Josh sounds like a very interesting 1.
I knew Uncle Keith had plans for Kevin, and I get such a laugh out of Danny's mom. Maybe the 2 should meet! ;)
The way you wrote the last scene was beautiful! A cold bleak wintery January night in an empty parking lot, becoming a musical filled, beautiful winter's night for Kevin was just ... perfect somehow (it really fits our boys). As you wrote tho, Kev has a lot to make up for.

Random point: You know, traditionally in English, you are supposed to use the word 'an' in front of words that begin with an 'h'. No one does that these days though, besides 'hour' and any words like it that I can't think of at the moment.

Private schools are bitches. I go to a small one in the south, and if you even just say the word queer everyone looks at you funny and the teachers scowl and tell you to hush-up.
I really think Danny’s being too easy on him. But Kevin really is sorry so… Ah well, I guess he suffered enough. Still a bit angry, though not as much as I would have been if he hadn’t just come out and tell him he’d been a selfish bastard.

Stupid fictionpress isn't sending me updates for some reason. Or any of the reviews I've been getting. Which is why it took me two days to review this. I'm hoping I don't have to plead and beg for you to get Dani and Kevin to be okay again, which I don't think I will have to do because I'm going to believe that everything will be sunshine and rainbows...soonish and they'll be happy. Even though Kevin was a horrible, horrible ass. I can't believe he did that. Poor Dani.

How things are, too true too true.
I had a lotta things to say a while back, but well, that was a while back, so I'll just settle on the present. Then I'll tell ya bout the while back.
I'm feelin for these two, Kevin for his damned selfishness and subsequent helplessness, and Danny for his turmoil and confusion. What that boy must be dealin with right now. And also there's the trust, which always makes for some great angst. Hm. It's kinda weird to say that 'cuz they seem like real people to me and it's weird to talk about people as if they were entertainment.
So to the things I had to say while back. I was just gonna say how, during the beginning stages of their relationship, I loved the way Kevin's character just sorta unfolded steadily throughout the chapters. I mean, the boy ain't perfect, but there's more to him than what appears on the outside. Which Danny saw.
And Danny, he's still a mystery I guess. But the way things are going, I'm thinkin he won't be for long.
Oh yeah, and one more last thing: I started re-reading the story again initially to pass the time while I waited for the next chapter. It's cool to see how the story progresses from there. The first time they saw each other (corny as it sounds) is gonna stick with me for a while. Yeah, that's how great it was.
So, I'll just sit back for a bit and bask in the angst until you take pity and show us some love I guess.

That was a really great "first time" scene for Danny, and Kevin's love for him really came through.
