I really really love the beginning of this story- I've not read anything else like it on fictionpress, and I think you handled it really well. I really cared for your characters^^
After this chapter though, for me, the story seemed to lose it's power, and I found the fake kidnapping slightly unrealistic in the context of the story somehow. I did read a few more chapters but I probably won't finish (I was interested in Dani/Danny's problem with sex, but idk, I'm hard to please I guess).
So I'm reviewing here because the beginning was perfect and because of *that* I'm adding it to favorites, so thank you.

This Was An Amazing Story. I DID NO SKIMMING! I Read Every Word. You Had Wonderful Character Development And I Cared About Every One. I Couldn't Stop Reading It. I Got Choked Up More Than Once, Especially Reading The Epilogue, Bravo!

This is a very nice story! I don't read a lot of slash (mostly femslash for me, which is how I found you. Your story "Alone, Together" is one of the best stories I've ever read!), but this was quite good. The characters were awesome (except that principal guy), the story was believable, and it wasn't all about sex, a good thing in any story, femslash, slash or otherwise.
Overall, great job!

I really enjoyed your story. I don't know much about trans-sexual/trans-gender people but I like to think that the story was true to what someone who was dealing with those issues would face.

Oh, my, God! I lovvve this story, soo much! If you were to publish this, I would by myself and my friends copies soo fast! Haha, but I think it comes down to the fact that I can relate to Dani a lot, just from the opposite side of the gender spectrum. I live how mysterious Uncle Keith was in it all, and I definitely love Dani's family! And after a while, Kevin's dad did kind of grow on you. I loved the part you put in about Chris being excited to be able to go outside without a shirt; cuz I gotta say, I'd love to be able to do that. And I just...I really liked your characterization of Dani; it just made me happy, and for me, she was very relatable. I just, live this story very much!

Haha, I don't normally review stories that have been finished for close to five years...but I just had to say that Kevin's little internal battle there was pure genius! Soo funny and cute! Plus I love Dani/Danny's character, very awesome!

I LOVED this story! I read all 77,000+ words in less than a day! It had hilarious moments that literally made me laugh out loud. I had copious 'awe' inspired moments that made me all giddy; parts where I was like "Kevin, WTH are you doing?" and I had a huge grin on my face with each chapter end. It was really entertaining; one of the best stories I read on this website. It is really a bummer that it has come to an end though. Failte200, you are an awesome writer, and I hope to read your other stories with the same content this one gave me. Thanks for sharing this story, really, thanks.
